Antony Ward는 런던 Central Saint Martin College of Art and Design과 프랑스 리옹의 l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts에서 공부하였고, 레지던시 경험은 인천아트플랫폼이 처음이다.
작가는 형태와 배경이 직면하는 형상을 그린다. 또한 기존의 프린트된 기하학적 구성을 작가만의 행위로 확대하거나 비닐을 자르는 등 작업을 진행한다. 또한 우리 삶 속에 "이미 거기 있는" 것들과 회화적인 문법과 단어 사이에서 고민하여 작품으로 표현한다.
작가는 인천 중구 해안동 인근, 그리고 특정 장소에 개입할 것이다. 그 개입은 1. 시각적 소통 도구를 사용해 표현된 포토몽타주로 융합된 벡터 조성. 2. 이웃이 있는 다양한 장소에서 발생된 이민자들을 대상으로 생성된 소리 조각들의 구성체들, 이 두 가지 형태로 진행될 예정이다.
