Between Screens: Moving Images in Dialogue

국립인천대학교 조형예술학부, 영국 왕립예술대학교(Royal College of Art), 스위스 루체른응용과학예술대학교(Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts)의 교수와 학생들이 참여하는 국제 교류 상영회 〈스크린 사이에서 / Between Screens: Moving Images in Dialogue〉가 펼쳐진다.

서로 다른 문화와 환경 속에서 형성된 영상 작업들은 하나의 방식으로 설명되지 않는다. 이미지는 감각을 흔들고, 리듬은 사고를 움직이며, 의문은 끝나지 않은 채 남는다. 이번 상영은 예술적 실천을 보여주는 자리를 넘어, 실험과 탐구, 그리고 각기 다른 시선이 충돌하고 교차하는 순간을 경험하는 장이다. 상영 후에는 참여 작가와 관객이 함께하는 대화를 통해 작업의 배경과 과정, 그리고 여전히 열려 있는 질문을 나눈다.

스크린 사이에서 우리는 새로운 감각과 사유의 가능성을 마주하게 된다.

Between Screens: Moving Images in Dialogue is an international exchange screening programme bringing together students and faculty from the Department of Fine Arts at Incheon National University (South Korea), the Royal College of Art (UK), and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland).

The works presented here resist a single mode of explanation. Images unsettle perception, rhythms set thought in motion, and questions remain open. This screening moves beyond the presentation of artistic practice, becoming a space to encounter moments where experimentation, inquiry, and different ways of seeing collide and intersect. Following the screening, conversations with participating artists invite audiences to explore the contexts, processes, and still unresolved questions embedded in each work.

Between Screens—in this space, new possibilities of perception and thought emerge.
