물 밖의 물고기 / 날개 없는 새

점령되지 않은, 소유되지 않은, 상업화되지 않은, 임대되지 않은, 사용되지 않은 장소는 어디 있는가?
공공 공간은 우리의 것이 아니다. 사적 공간조차도 우리의 것이 아니다.
무언가를 더 꿈꾸는 것, 무언가 영원히 닿지 않는 것. 욕망의 본성.
정책. 토지 분배, 분할, 땅의 양도. 정치. 
물은 땅이 된다. 물 조차 소유되었다.
강압적인 문화. 소비자 문화.
도시는 폭력적이다. 우리의 감각이 잠시 멈추어 쉴 곳이 없는 곳. 침해받고 통제된 곳...

이 환경은 우리의 지식과 통제의 범위를 넘어서 변화하고 조종되어왔다.

우리는 이러한 주변 환경에서 영원히 불편하다.

쉴 수 있는 장소는 어디인가?

몸, 피부, 옷, 외피의 층, 피난처, 확장된 피부.

우리에게 물을 달라. 우리에게 땅을 달라. 우리에게 공기를 달라.

우리에게 공간을 달라.

Fish Out of Water / Birds Without Wings

Where is a space that is not occupied, owned, commercialized, rented, used? 
Public space is not ours; private space is not ours. 
Dreaming of something more, something that is forever out of reach. The nature of desire.
Policy. Land allocation, division, concessions. Politics. 
The water becomes land. Even the water is owned.
Oppressive culture. Consumer culture. 
The city is violent, no place for our senses to pause, to take reprieve. Invaded, controlled. 
This environment has been changed and manipulated outside of our knowledge and control. We are forever uncomfortable in these surroundings. 

Where is a place to rest?

The body, skin, clothes, outer layers, a shelter, an extended skin. 

Give us the water. Give us the land. Give us the air. 


Give us space.
