2011 인천아트플랫폼 입주작가 프리뷰전<2011, 인천상륙작전>

2기 레지던시 프로그램의 시작을 알리고 입주작가들의 대표작품들을 선보이는 프리뷰전시인 <2011 인천상륙作展>이 약 70일간 인천아트플랫폼 곳곳에서 진행되었다. 이번 전시는 인천에 새롭게 둥지를 틀게 될 입주작가들이 지금까지 어떤 작업을 해 왔으며, 입주 후에는 어떠한 활동을 해 나갈 것인지를 살펴 보는 전시였다.
    A동 크리스탈 큐브에는 어머니와 여성, 평화에 대한 담론을 다루며 여성주의 미술의 대모로 불리는 윤석남의 작품이 전시되었다. 윤석남 작가는 <1,025>를 비롯한 유기견에 관한 일련의 작업을 진행해 왔다. 이번 전시에서는 ‘버려진 개’에 대한 단상을 적은 약 70여 쪽의 화선지 화폭과 더불어 1,025마리의 개 형상의 조각이 설치되었으며 버림받은 개의 영혼을 위로하는 ‘진혼굿’과 같은 작품 <1,025>는 예술작품을 통해 생명존중에 대한 메시지를 환기시키는 계기가 되었다. B동 전시장에는 전통과 현재를 오가는 산수화를 통해 현시대의 정체성에 관한 다각적인 고찰을 하는 오민수, 교과서의 ‘철수와 영희’를 재해석하여 한국교육이 지니는 문제점과 정체성의 혼란에 대해 이야기 하는 오석근, 정치 및 사회적 이슈를 풍자적 사진으로 재연출하는 조습, 엉뚱함과 유치함, 발칙한 미학적 상상력을 담거나 때론 역사에 대한 시비를 담는 일러스트레이터 현태준 등의 작품이 전시되었다. 또한 사샤 폴(Sascha Pohle, 독일)과 타케시 모로(Takeshi Moro, 일본)의 영상작품들, 홍성민과 다나 올라레스큐(Dana Olarescu, 루마니아)의 공연 기록영상이 상영되었으며 공연평론가 윤중강과 아동문학가 오시은 등 인문학자들의 작업들도 아카이브 형식으로 소개되었다. 3월 11일(금) 18시 오프닝에는 그룹 ‘반달’의 연출가 박하민이 무용음악극 <이클립스 ECLIPSE>의 연주곡이 선보였다.

2nd Resident Artists Preview Exhibition : Incheon Landing Operation

A preview exhibition which marked the start of the second artist residency program and showed the representative works of the artists in residence, was held for about 70 days  throughout the Incheon Art Platform. This exhibition was to examine which work the artists in residence, who would build a nest in Incheon, had done and which activities they would do after residency.
    At the Crystal Cube, Building A, the works by Yoon Soknam, who had dealt with the discourse of a mother, women and peace and was called a doyenne of feminist art, were exhibited. The artist has done a series of work about abandoned dogs, including a work <1,025>. In this exhibition, the sculpture with the shapes of 1,025 dogs was installed, with about 70 pieces of canvas in rice paper written with the comments on abandoned dogs, and the work <1,025>, a work like an exorcism for repose of souls to solace the souls of abandoned dogs, called our attention to the message of respect for life through a work of arts. At the exhibit hall, Building B, were exhibited the works by Oh Minsoo who considered the identity of the present age in its multilateral aspects through a landscape painting linking traditions with the present, the ones by Oh Seokkeun who talked about the problem of Korean education and the confusion of identity by reinterpreting the story of Chulsoo & Younghee in a textbook, the ones by Hyun Taejoon, an illustrator, who redirected politico-social issues in photo-parodies, capturing an inconsequent, immature or impudent aesthetic imagination, or telling right from wrong on history, and etc. And also, the video works by Sascha Pohle(a German) and Takeshi Moro(a Japanese) and the performance videos of Hong Sungmin and Dana Olarescu(a Rumanian) were showed, and the works by the humanities scholars including Yoon Jungkang, a performance critic, and Oh Sieun, a writer of juvenile stories, were introduced in a form of archive. At the opening, at 6 pm on May 11 (Fri),  Park Hamin, a director of the group ‘Half Moon’ presented the music of the , a dance musical play.
